The Heritage Patriots defeated the visiting James Logan Colts 30–10 in Friday’s non-league game. Heritage improved to 1–0 and will face the Castro Valley Trojans, who enter the matchup 0–1 after losing 35–20 to Redwood Christian. James Logan fell to 0–1 and will next take on the California Grizzlies, who are also 0–1 following a 32–21 loss to Liberty.
