Mountain Vista delivered a dominant offensive performance Friday night, cruising past ThunderRidge 49-28 in a high-scoring league matchup between two Highlands Ranch rivals.

The Golden Eagles jumped out to control of the game and continued to find the end zone throughout the night, putting together enough offense to pull away from the Grizzlies. With the 21-point victory, Mountain Vista improves to 3-1 on the season and continues to build momentum heading into its next matchup.

ThunderRidge, which entered the game at 3-0, suffered its first loss of the season and now sits at 3-1. The Grizzlies will look to regroup when they take on Arvada West, a team still searching for its first win of the season.

Mountain Vista will return to action Thursday, September 24, when the Golden Eagles take on the 2-2 Riverdale Ridge Ravens in a non-league matchup. After Riverdale Ridge's recent 15-7 win over Fossil Ridge, the Ravens will enter the matchup looking to carry that momentum into their meeting with the Golden Eagles.
