The Pittsburg Pirates came out firing Friday night, jumping on the James Logan Colts early and never looking back in a 49–21 victory.

Pittsburg built a 42–0 lead by halftime, controlling the game on both sides of the ball. Quarterback JaVale Jonesaccounted for four first-half touchdowns, throwing for three and adding another on the ground before his night came to an end.

With the Pirates holding a comfortable lead, Ahsoni Seals took over under center in the second half. The sophomore quarterback finished 13-of-17 passing for 119 yards and a touchdown.

James Logan found its rhythm after halftime, putting together a stronger offensive performance and scoring 21 unanswered points in the second half. The Colts' comeback effort, however, came too late to erase Pittsburg's early advantage.

Pittsburg closed out the night with a 49–21 win, improving to 2–1 on the season. James Logan dropped to 0–3.
